Crewe-Diagnostics offers Immobilization Services & Support for Bentley motor cars from 1998 onwards. The immobilization system becomes through the years very complex, and the special connection/license to Bentley Motors Ltd. is required.
The immobilization system is a theft-deterrent system that adds a layer of security to (every) Bentley model. To initialize control modules using immobilizer codes requires a Bentley specific diagnostic tool, to complete the process due to special proprietary software available only on these tools. This software utilizes the hardware connections built into the tools as well as internal programs that translate the PIN’s into usable codes that are finally sent to the control modules.
